Task – 2 Time-Lapse Time-lapse is where the frequency of the images is captured much lower than what is used to view the sequence. This technique is stop motion as the pictures are repeatedly taken so there is very minimal movement between each frames and then they are played on a very high frames per second so there is the illusion of movement. A good example of a time-lapse is this kidney bean plant growing over the course of many days. Claymation Claymation is a form of stop-motion animation that uses clay made characters or backgrounds. This is great for stop-motion as they can be easily manipulated and can be made to do almost any action possible as the clay that is used to make it all is extremely malleable. Potentially the biggest claymation that there is out there is Wallace and Gromit.
